Cristiano Ronaldo paid tribute to his son, Cristiano Jr, after scoring in Al-Nassr's 3-0 over Al-Ettifaq.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar, 39, has plied his trade in the Saudi Pro League ever since cutting his second spell at Old Trafford short back in 2022.
Ronaldo has continued plundering goals in the Middle East and he was on the scoresheet again to condemn Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard - now the boss of Al-Ettifaq - to defeat.
He was seen holding up three fingers after scoring at his 14-year-old son, who was in the stands. And a theory behind the celebration has now emerged.

According to ESPN, Ronaldo counted his goal with the brace Cristiano Jr bagged in a win for Al-Nassr's youth team, who smashed Al-Qadsiah 4-0 earlier in the day, meaning they had scored a hat-trick between them.
Ronaldo dedicated the win to Al-Nassr's fans after the match on social media, where he wrote: "Great team effort. Big win tonight - this one's for the fans!"
His celebration, which went down a storm on social media, capped a memorable match for both the player and Al-Nassr, who were playing under new head coach Stefano Pioli for the first time.
The former Lazio and AC Milan boss was drafted in by Al-Nassr earlier this week after the Saudi Pro League outfit axed Luis Castro, who had managed just one win from the team's opening three league games.
Pioli, who has signed a three-year deal, guided AC Milan to the Scudetto in the 2021/22 campaign and has managed over 870 games, all of which have come in Italy.
He was a standout candidate for the role once Castro, who lasted just over a year in the Al-Nassr hotseat.
Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, Ivan Toney scored twice for Al-Ahli as they beat Demac 4-2. The former Brentford striker moved to the Middle East on transfer deadline day after months of speculation linking him with numerous clubs, including some of the Premier League's elite such as Arsenal and Chelsea.
