Dave Grohl blasted by ex over cheating scandal as she brands him 'scumbag' in explosive update

Dave Grohl's ex Kari Wuhrer has addressed the Foo Fighters star’s cheating scandal in an explosive new interview.

Earlier this month, it came to light that the 55-year-old rocker had recently fathered a child with another woman, leaving his fans stunned. Dave and his devastated wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum, share three daughters together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

Kari, a 57-year-old actress who Dave dated in the late 1990s, has this week blasted Dave, calling him a 'scumbag' and 'serial cheater'. She also insisted she’s not at all surprised by the news and claimed the former Nirvana drummer was actually in a relationship with snowboarder Tina Basich when he first started to pursue her romantically.

Speaking on Thursday, Kari also said in a dramatic update that there had long been rumours of Dave’s infidelity. Reflecting on her own relationship with the Everlong crooner, she told TMZ yesterday that back when they were dating, she’d decided to call into the Howard Stern show to vent about their romance. Kari claimed that Dave ‘yelled at her’ over the move and it was then that Tina learned of their relationship.

Explaining her actions this week, Kari said: “I was letting the cat out of the bag ... I never heard about her. He never spoke of it.” After her Howard Stern call, Dave never spoke to her again, however they have since bumped into each other in LA as their kids go to the same play place.

Of those encounters, Kari went on: “He would just look at me like I didn't exist. I just felt like I knew he was a scumbag after that.” She also urged Dave to apologise to all his exes.

Earlier this month, Dave shared his shocking infidelity confession on social media. He said he is hoping to regain the trust of his wife. He wrote on Instagram: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

It’s said Jordyn turned to a major Hollywood star for support following the musician's infidelity announcement, with Kate Hudon helping her navigate the shocking turn of events.

Rumours also suggest Jordyn, 48, has already hired a divorce attorney as she looks to move on from the drama and has reportedly been asking for Kate's advice on how to best deal with the situation. It's claimed the Bride Wars star has been left "disgusted" by the rocker's actions.

An insider told Mail Online: "Jordyn is getting major support from one of her besties - Kate Hudson. She was surprised and disgusted that at Dave’s age he’s still cheating on not only Jordyn, but their girls too."
