Elizabeth Hurley and Patsy Kensit wow fans with throwback snap taken 35 years ago

Actress Elizabeth Hurley could not resist showing off her incredible figure in a throwback post from 1989 when she donned a tiny white mini dress, showcasing her lengthy pins.

And it although her style has changed, it seems 35 years has not impacted Elizabeth's youthful appearance after she posted a comparison picture of her and pal Patsy Kensit - also proving their friendship had lasted the test of time. Thirty five years on, the pair appear as fresh-faced as ever, despite a 35 year gap from when they appeared in publicity shots for their film Kill Cruise in 1989.

At the time, back in the eighties, Patsy is seen in a pink mini-dress looking sultry, while the mum of one, is seen with her back to Patsy, dressed in a flattering white dress that barely covered her derriere. Posting the picture on Instagram, Elizabeth, 59, posed alongside Patsy at the Estee Lauder’s Future Dreams Ladies Lunch at The Savoy Hotel, in London.

Elizabeth captioned the comparison post saying: "35 years of friendship with @patsykensit. First pic is the day we met and second pic is a few days ago." And Patsy, who shares a child with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, commented: "Oh my darling fifi, I love you so much and love being Aunt Ratticus to beautiful [Elizabeth’s son] Damian."

The first snap was taken on the set of their film Kill Cruise, where Elizabeth and Patsy played two British women who join a disastrous sea voyage from Gibraltar to the West Indies with a drunken sailor. It was this film that sparked a decades long friendship filled with the pair enjoying each other's family. At the recent event, both women were joined in a picture with Elizabeth's son Damien

The lunch was just another celebration of her birthday. Last month, the Austin Powers star took to social media to post a video of her performances. She captioned the post saying: "Today is my birthday and I’m feeling like a bada** queen! Thank you for all the love and birthday messages, I love you guys! AND I can’t wait to celebrate with you all in Vegas this week. Who’s coming out to a show?"

And her birthday was clearly one to remember as she was also joined on stage by the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men, who made a surprise appearance to serenade her. This was shared with her legion of followers on social media.

Forever maintaining herself in the spotlight, Elizabeth previously shared a host of snaps of her most recent Elizabeth Hurley Beach Collection, which she held at the grounds of Dame Joan Collins at her St Tropez home. Paying tribute to the iconic Dynasty star, Elizabeth wrote: "Thank you Joan & Percy for letting me shoot my new @elizabethhurleybeach collection in your beautiful house #sttropez @joancollinsdbe. This is my new flirty kaftan."
