Gino D'Acampo has shared the reason ITV bosses "freak out" when he is presenting a show but stressed that he "doesn't care" what people say about him.
The celebrity chef, who has been keeping viewers entertained with his delicious recipes and hilarious antics since 2009, is a familiar face on ITV.
The 48-year-old is the host of Family Fortunes, Gino's Italian Escape and Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. However, the star admitted to Heat magazine that, despite occasionally causing controversy with his outlandish behaviour, there is no line he wouldn't cross on TV.
He said: "What line? I have no interest in drawing lines! ITV freak out when they give me a show, but they know that I mean well and whatever I say, it comes from a good place. I don't do anything I wouldn't do in everyday life.
"Without sounding like an a**hole, I don't care what people have to say about me. On social media, for example, why would I even bother reading comments and replying?
"Of course there are some people who are going to love what you do and some people who are going to hate it."
The Italian chef and First Dates presenter will team up for a new show called 'Emission Impossible' on ITV, with the pair travelling to Austria and Croatia to shine a light on global warming.
bosses promise new series will bring "laughs" as "eco-conscious Fred" attempts to convince "Ferrari-loving" Gino about going green.
However, pal Gordon Ramsay has been left out of the line-up. The three celebrity chefs previously saw their hit show come to an end
Gino sensationally announced his decision "not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road Trips" in March last year, as he hinted at contract disagreements and behind-the-scenes issues as the reason for his resignation.
However, many fans pointed out Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip, is produced by Gordon’s production company Studio Ramsay, which started in 2018.
Gino played down reports of a rift between the pair and hinted at another season of the successful show. He said: "We've all been friends for a long time.
"Gordon text me yesterday saying 'How are you buddy?' And I just spent five days with Fred on holiday in Sardinia. We love doing it and it's very much on the cards. We want to do next.
"But the main issue is two very busy individuals - Fred and Gordon - and one guy who only works six months of the year. Right now Gordon is the busiest so Fred and I have filmed something together instead."
