ITV This Morning fans fume 'no need to mention it' minutes into live show

This Morning viewers were left fuming at their TV sets during the latest episode as the show kicked off on a festive note.

Presenter and were back at the helm on Wednesday (November 6) as they gave insight on what's to come. But before things got underway the hosts appeared cheerful as they danced along to the popular song Merry Xmas by Slade.

With parts of the studio decked in decor, the pair explained that it's only seven weeks until the big day. Discussing toys, Cat and Ben also shared that they will be discussing Christmas scams later on in the show.

But despite the upbeat approach, fans were left annoyed with Christmas reminder. Heading over to X, viewers shared their frustrations.

One social media user wrote: "It is 7 weeks away so no need to mention it yet." Another annoyed fan said: "The last thing I need to be reminded about is Christmas when you have people suffering across the still to this day."
