Katya Jones and Wynne Evans have been embroiled in yet another drama on , just after bosses managed to put the previous one to bed.
Although the pair are seemingly keen to draw a line under recent events, which saw fans comment widely on clips of the British-Russian dancer appear to be uncomfortable with how handsy Wynne had got - it's not the first controversy Katya has found herself at the centre of.
The 35-year-old dancer, who has been part of the Strictly gang since 2016, was seen brushing opera singer Wynne's hand away with a forced grin as he stroked her tummy, moments after she publicly left the 52-year-old hanging when he went in for a high five.
Despite going to lengths including TV interviews and online videos to move past the "nonsense", Katya has been involved in similar drama before. In 2018, with her partner comedian , she was spotted kissing the taken man - a move that cost both parties their relationships.
Then, in 2022, when Katya was teamed up with ex-footballer Tony Adams, rumours of a behind-the-scenes feud emerged once again. In a heated on-screen row, former England player Tony accused Katya of being "over-critical". The pair were forced to leave the competition in week eight, following Tony's hamstring injury - but the week before, there was evidence of a rift between them. When hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly were wrapping the show up, cameras spotted the pair having a heated exchange. On , a few days later, they brushed off the rumours with a joke that they 'don't like each other'.
Tony explained: "We've had two months together now. She's been training me and the routines she's putting on are incredible. And sometimes when I miss a step, sometimes she's a little bit over critical and I just want to have a good time as well. So I think it's a balance between maybe letting me make a mistake and enjoying myself a little bit at times… I'm not an expert in this field."
And it wasn't the first hint that there was tension between the two. Speaking on spin-off show It Takes Two, Tony revealed that Katya had 'told him off', much to his annoyance. He told host Rylan Clark: "The last time I’ve been told off like that was by George Graham and I left the dressing room. I said, 'That’s not for me anymore, I’m going.' Katya’s more attractive than George Graham, maybe that’s why I put up with it."
Another hint at unrest between Katya and a partner happened in 2023, when actor was seen storming off the dancefloor when he received a disappointing score for his performance in Blackpool.
