Oasis fans have been giddy with anticipation as rumours swirled that Oasis could be making an appearance at the Super Bowl alongside Kendrick Lamar.

The Not Like Us rapper was recently announced as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans next year. It wasn't long before there was speculation on who could be joining the m.A.A.d city star on stage. An alleged Apple Music sheet reportedly leaked Kendrick's setlist and showcased Oasis as a featured artist.

According to the supposed setlist, Kendrick's performance would be divided into three sections: Part I, Part II and an encore. The encore section indicated that he would perform his iconic Drake diss track, Not Like Us, six times in a row to close the huge performance.

Fans noticed that the encore's opening would reportedly have Kendrick performing Oasis' hit song Rock 'N' Roll Star. Liam Gallagher soon noticed the leaked list and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to the rumours. Responding to a picture of the supposed list, Liam said: "How's that leaked ffs."

He didn't confirm or deny the authenticity of the setlist. Fans rushed to respond to his comment, with one joking: "Are you ready to diss Drake with Kendrick." Another fan added: "Insane crossover wtf." Another excited fan said: "The collab we didn't know we needed I LOVE YOU LIAM."

Others shared snaps of Kendrick on stage wearing an Oasis t-shirt. One wasn't sure whether it was real and asked: "So is it true?" There is no evidence to show that the setlist is real. Meanwhile, Liam recently revealed the chances of his reunion tour with his brother Noel Gallagher lasting past the UK and Ireland tour dates scheduled from July to September next year.

Taking to X and replying to fans of the band, Liam said the duo could be sticking around for much longer than first thought. Asked if the band were here to stay, one fan wrote: "Is the Oasis reunion just that, a one off, or is it a more permanent thing - are you back together for good?" Gallagher replied: "Who knows Rkid." Replies to the Oasis frontman's tweet sent fans into a meltdown, with some asking "what do you mean Liam".

Another wrote: "Hope Oasis is back for good, but main thing is you and Noel are best bros again." A third added: "Cmon we need a more solid answer than that."
