fan-favourite couple Kieran and Kristina had viewers in tears
In recent episodes, Kieran Champman had been struggling to get over how similar wife Kristina Goodsell is to his exes. It left him fearing for the future of their marriage andon Wednesday's dinner party. The couples were tasked with penning anonymous letters to each other containing advice and support for each other's rocky romances.
Kieran and Kristina, who were once viewed as one of the series' strongest couples, were hit with a heartbreaking confession. Kristina had reaffirmed her love for Kieran, as she insisted she was different from his exes. "I can see the potential with us," she said. "I can see me, in whatever time you need, moving to Newcastle - I'll make that f****** journey for you, because I care about you and I see potential with you."
She continued: "I have fought for you from day one. We have so much respect for each other. We've got that fire and electric between us and I don't think I can let that go." Despite Kristina's vulnerable words, Kieran shared doubts about them being more than platonic.

"There's no one in the like you," Kieran said. "I know my head's all over the place and I know I'm potentially risking losing one of the best women that I could ever wish for, and that's one of the hardest things to admit to myself. I'm not going to lead you on because I do care about you. At the minute, I'm in that grey area where I'm thinking is this a friendship, or is this more? All I can do is be honest with you. But I'm really, really grateful and thankful for everything."
Kristina, Kieran and the group were left in tears by his admission. However, viewers at home have called for Kristina to walk away from her connection with Kieran. One said: "Wtf is wrong with Keiran?!? I don't understand his thinking at all. Be happy with her ffs. He's upsetting them both when they could be so happy."
Another added: "Poor Christina - he’s just not the one #MAFS." Following Kieran's confession, the other couples were left speechless. The cameras later caught a vulnerable moment with Kieran alone, crying in the corner and clutching his glass, as he said: "I need to work out whether this can be more than friendship."
