Married at First Sight UK fans were sent into a frenzy, wondering if one groom is a blast from the past straight out of a 1990s boyband as the second episode dropped on Tuesday (September 17).

Nathan Campbell, 24, eager to find his soulmate, joined E4's quest for love this year, hoping for that fairytale ending.

As Married At First Sight's youngest male participant in 2024, Nathan's already got his eye on the future, with dreams of a family life ahead.

Speaking to Channel 4, Nathan didn't hold back on his wishlist: His dream woman would be petite, laughter-loving, devoted to family life, and steeped in traditional values.

Taking to MAFS UK's Instagram, Nathan charmed his followers by saying: "I'd make the perfect partner because I'm chill, easy-going, and a bit of a free spirit," reports OK!.

He also shared his parent's wishes, explaining: "I think my parents would love me to be with someone who's really family-orientated, keeps me on my toes a little bit, gets me going in the right direction.

"The first thing I notice about someone is probably their smile or their eyes. My perfect date is doing something really fun, I like doing something really active, whether it's bowling, golf, or anything like that."

Regarding his big day nerves, Nathan confessed: "On my wedding day, I'll be most nervous about if she likes me, or if I stumble on my words."

But amid all the wedding prep, Nathan's look had viewers doing a double-take. One social media user couldn't resist commenting: "Ding dong - is he from a 90s boyband? #MarriedAtFirstSightUK."

One viewer pinpointed the resemblance with a comment: "This guy Nathan reminds me of that guy from 00s boy band O Town."

Another joined in, saying: "Nathan just radiates 90's boy band. God bless him for saving our nostalgic souls."

During the broadcast, Nathan was matched with Lacey Martin, but sparks didn't fly as hoped.

Their initial encounter at the altar turned awkward when Nathan greeted his new wife with a bland "nice" a comment that left her underwhelmed and pining for a more enthusiastic "wow".
