Olly Murs brags his sex life with wife Amelia 'hasn't been affected' after welcoming baby

Olly Murs insists having a baby hasn't stopped him and wife Amelia finding time for sex.

The singer, 40, welcomed baby daughter Madison five months ago with his wife Amelia, 32. He admitted: "Our sex life hasn't been affected at all, and I'm not lying when I say that.

"It's just finding the time around the baby. When I'm not picking up nappies or feeding, I'm asking her: 'When are we getting a bit of that in?'" Olly confessed he felt guilty heading off on tour not long after his wife gave birth.

Just two days after Madison was born in April, Olly set off on tour supporting Take That. The singer admitted he struggled being away from his family and missing out on key moments while his wife and mother-in-law stayed home.

"That was the hardest part of fatherhood so far for me — leaving Madison. I felt like I wasn't actually present. I felt I didn't have a connection with her and she was like, 'Who's this guy?'" Olly told The Sun.

Meanwhile, the singer recently opened up on his health as he revealed the debilitating health condition that led him to having therapy before joining The Voice. The 40-year-old told Auto Trader's 'Show On The Road' podcast: "[It] felt like the worst news that could ever happen to me. I had a massive panic attack over it. I know what I went through was nothing compared to what other people go through. But mentally at the time, I was freaked out."

"I wondered, going back on TV again, was I going to make a mistake? Because that's all I got when I did 'X Factor', I was told, 'You're useless, you're not good, you're not a great presenter, you're not this, you're not that'."

"Don't get me wrong, there were loads of positives too, but I just got loads of hate." The Dear Darlin singer revealed that therapy helped him feel ready to return to a television role.

He added: "One of the things I learnt was how to cope and understand how I was feeling. She gave me these techniques on how to deal with that other voice in your head that's like telling you you can't do this, run away."

The singer admitted he was "petrified" when he first joined The Voice back in 2018, but the show ended up being the "best thing that ever happened" to him. "I loved it. I did it for seven years. And it was what I needed. It was brilliant," he added.
