Ozzy Osbourne to perform again despite trouble walking and standing

Ozzy Osbourne is set to perform for the first time in over a year, despite being unable to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Brave Ozzy, 75, confirmed he will take to the stage to be inaugurated into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month in Cleveland, US.

The famous hellraiser - who has battled neck, back and leg issues since a 2019 fall - refuses to allow his mobility restrictions to impact his attendance.

Sources close to the Black Sabbath star say he’s given his band the green light that he will travel from his LA home to the event.

Ozzy confirmed his appearance on his Sirius radio channel - but remained coy about what he had planned: “I am going to have to go there,” he declared. "The thing is I can’t talk about it now.”

It is his second honour from The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame after he was inducted in the 2006 ceremony with his band Black Sabbath.

Ozzy acknowledged it “was special” to have the recognition. It’s understood that many metal superstars are poised to attend the bash to celebrate with Ozzy.

The Birmingham-born rocker, who lives in America with wife Sharon, 71, hopes that “supportive” Slash - the Guns N Roses guitarist - will join him. “He is a really nice fella,” said Ozzy. “He speaks to me a lot.”
