The referee who took charge of ’s win over Leicester City will return to action this weekend after notably being dropped from action in the week after the game. Sam Barrott was in charge for the at the Emirates Stadium on 28 September.

However, the referee’s performance was , who believes that he got two key decisions wrong. The first was an alleged foul on Jamie Vardy for Arsenal’s first goal, as well as believing that should have been shown a second yellow card.
Speaking in his post-match press conference he said: "We were very disappointed with a foul not being given on Vards for the first goal,” he said. “And although we don't come into games trying to get players sent off, why he hasn't sent off Calafiori is a little bit beyond belief."
When the refereeing appointments were made for the following week, It was the first time in the season that he had not been involved in a game either as a referee or fourth official.
He will however be back in the middle for Manchester United’s home clash against Brentford on Saturday (3pm kick-off). Erik ten Hag will be looking to relieve the pressure on his job by picking up a first win in six games.
