New England manager Thomas Tuchel has had his fair share of hot-headed moments - and he was once involved in a with during his time as boss.
During Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Conte's in 2022, the two managers clashed on the touchline after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored a controversial equaliser and the spat escalated after the final whistle.
As and Conte went to shake hands, they and had a heated exchange. The pair had to be separated and were both sent off by referee Anthony Taylor as a result. Tuchel also criticised the referee post-match, suggesting that if Taylor never refereed his side again.
However, Tuchel attempted to play down the clash immediately after the game, telling the : "It was hot from the temperature and hot between the benches and hot on the field and hot between the spectators - everything that you want and what you hope in a match like this early in the season.

"It was a brilliant match and unfortunately we didn't get the win that we deserved. There's no hard feelings [with Conte] - I feel like it was a fair tackle from him and a fair tackle from me. We did not insult each other, we did not hit each other, we were fighting for our teams and from my side there's absolutely no hard feelings. I'm surprised that we both got a red card for that."
Conte, meanwhile, joked: "For what happened, I think we did enjoy it. Next time we'll pay more attention and we don't shake hands, and we solve the problem. I stay in my bench and we finish with the staff on our side and no problem about this.
"It would be a pity if for this situation we miss the next game. For sure there is a video to understand what happened. For sure I'm not pacific. But I repeat, this is not a problem and the most important thing is the game was a great game, with two teams that there is a big level."
by the for their actions, with Tuchel found to have "instigated the confrontation" by an independent regulatory commission. He was fined £35,000 and given a suspended one-match ban, while Conte was fined £15,000.
In a letter to the FA, Conte said of the incident: "Due to his very firm grip my arm jarred causing me to be pulled backwards. I was both surprised and unhappy that such handshake caused me to be pulled back with such physical force.
"I did not overreact to this provocation and with the circumstances was proud of how I handled myself. Had I made any reaction then I understand the situation would have been much worse."
