Three Chelsea stars drop Crystal Palace team news hints as fresh injury blow emerges

Chelsea will reportedly be without another central defender when they play Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge to kick-off their Premier League season.

Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill are already absent. The latter had surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained during pre-season training earlier this month.

The Times now reports that Tosin Adarabioyo will be out as a precautionary measure after a minor issue is said to have stopped the player from completing Saturday's training session. Chelsea reputedly do not want to take risks with Colwill already being side-lined.

That's despite Tosin's problem not being considered serious by them.

Omari Kellyman and Romeo Lavia are also injured, while Mykhailo Mudryk and Nicolas Jackson are unavailable due to suspension. Several players have also hinted at their involvement for the Blues at.

Joao Pedro, Jorrel Hato and Moises Caicedo posted matchday graphics on their Instagram stories. Hato could make his competitive Chelsea debut, while Pedro is in line for a home bow.

Mark Rankine, the agent of England's Cole Palmer, also shared a graphic of his client on Saturday morning. The club, meanwhile, featured Reece James on their matchday graphic shared on Sunday morning - who missed the first few matches of last season through suspension, much like Jackson will now do to begin this campaign.

Eberechi Eze, meanwhile, reportedly will start for Palace - despite transfer interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The Athletic and The Times have reported that is their expectation.
