Arsenal could be about to take a huge step towards making Viktor Gyokeres signing number three of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have signed Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi so far this window withthe latter's arrival for just over £51million being announced this weekend.
A new striker has been the priority at the Emirates Stadium after scoring 97 goals at Sporting CP in 102 games. However, problems between Sporting's president and Gyokeres' camp have stalled the move.

Advanced talksThe news that Arsenal have been waiting for. The Athletichave reported that Arsenal are now in advanced talks with Sporting CP to sign Gyokeres.
It's not thought that a deal is done but discussions over the transfer fee are underway. Personal terms aren't thought to be a problem with a proposed five-year contract on the table.
Deal structureCNN Portugalhave reported that Gyokeres won't stay at Sporting CP with an agreement worth €75m (£65m) close to being finalised between the two clubs.
The report states that the Gunners will pay €65m (£56.1m) upfront with a further potential €15m (£12.9m) paid in future bonuses. Negotiations are thought to continue on Sunday with the details of how much Arsenal will pay Sporting in future.

It's also thought that 'difficult objectives' could translate into more money arriving at Sporting CP, including the possibility of Gyokeres winning the Ballon d'Or or the club winning the Champions League.
Gyokeres stancePrior to the bombshell that a deal was getting closer, it was reported that Gyokeres had been handed an extended break for his return to pre-season.
Sporting CP players return to training on Monday but the striker is being allowed to return to Lisbon on Friday. However, there's an understanding that the 27-year-old is threatening to go on striker to seal an exit.
