Arsenal are interested in signing a wide forward this summer and Chelsea's Noni Madueke is the latest player to be linked with a move.
With the Gunners closing in on the signings of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard, talks remain ongoing for other targets. Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera is reportedly of interest, while Andrea Berta is continuing to speak with Sporting CP and RB Leipzig about Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko respectively.
Madueke has now emerged as a potential target, with the Chelseawinger seen as someone who can add quality and depth to the front line. While predominantly a right winger, the England international can also play on the left, as seen at the Blues in the last few months.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal have opened talks to sign Madueke. The report claims that the Gunners have already made the 23-year-old an offer. It's said that he's one of several players that the north Londoners are assessing as Mikel Arteta looks to draft cover for Bukayo Saka.
Maduekejoined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and has 13 goals and seven assists in 67 appearances in the Premier League. The winger was asked about competition for places last summer during Chelsea's pre-season tour of America and delivered a confident response, with the club at the time linked with Michael Olise before his move to Bayern Munich.
Speaking to the Mail, Madueke said: “Of course I believe in my ability. We've got a great team full of great players. Players who can play in different positions. It's always good to have a team like that. I try to do my best and see what happens.
“It's competition. Competition happens at top clubs all the time. It's just one of those. It’s not anything different or peculiar. It is what it is. I feel good. New manager. New tactical ideas. It will take a little time to fully get that over to the boys but from what I've seen so far, it's promising. It's a different style of play but one I feel we're well suited to.
“It's about staying high and waiting for that killer pass when you can go and do real damage. It's about being patient and waiting for the opportunity to run and do my stuff. That's the discipline that the manager wants and if the manager wants that, then I'll do it. Simple.”
More recently, Enzo Maresca delivered his verdict on Madueke amid reports linking the former PSV man with a move away from Stamford Bridge. "Noni is our player," the Italian said. "You can read a lot of speculation at the moment, but we consider Noni our player for the coming season."
