IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: There is good news for those who want to do an officer's job (Sarkari Naukri) in the Intelligence Bureau (IB). For this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has started the recruitment process for the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II / Executive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official portal mha.gov.in. The application process for these posts has started.

A total of 3,717 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. If you are also thinking of working on these posts, then you can apply on or before 10 August. Read the points given below carefully before applying for these posts.

Qualification and Age Limit
The candidate must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. The age limit for application is 18 to 27 years (till 10 August 2025). Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per rules—SC/ST category will get 5 years, and OBC will get 3 years relaxation. Apart from this, ex-servicemen, departmental employees, etc., will also be given additional relaxation as per government rules.

Salary to be received on selection

The selected candidates will get salary as per Level-7 (7th Pay Commission), which will be between Rs 44,900 and Rs 1,42,400 per month. Apart from this, other benefits like HRA, DA, TA, and Special Security Allowance will also be provided.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will be completed in three stages.

Tier-I (100 marks) – An objective test, which will include General Awareness, Mathematical Ability, Logical Analysis, English, and General Studies. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour, and 0.25 negative marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Tier-II (50 marks) – A descriptive exam consisting of essay writing and comprehension in English.

Interview (100 marks) – This will evaluate the personality, presentation, and suitability of the candidate for intelligence services.

The final selection will be based on the performance in all three stages. Interested candidates are advised to apply on time and read the official notification carefully.
