RPSC will recruit 6500 senior teachers
An advertisement was issued by RPSC on 17th July 2025 for the recruitment of 6500 senior teachers, under which the recruitment process is to be started by RPSC for the appointment of senior teachers in a total of 10 subjects.
Application process starting from 19th August
Notification has been issued by RPSC on 17th July for the recruitment of senior teachers. After this, a correction letter was issued on 14 August. In both, RPSC has clarified that the application process for senior teacher recruitment will start from 19 August, under which interested candidates can apply till 17 September. The application process will be conducted online. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates between 18 and 40 years can apply.
Changes in these rules
A correction letter has been issued by RPSC regarding the change in the rules of senior teacher recruitment, under which the eligibility rules for application for teacher recruitment in 10 subjects have been changed.
According to the revised rules of RPSC, only B.Ed. and graduate students in related subjects can apply for senior teacher recruitment in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Gujarati subjects.
Similarly, for senior teacher recruitment in science subjects, only those candidates who have a B. Ed and two subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry in graduation can apply.
On the other hand, for senior teacher recruitment in social science subjects, only those candidates who have a B.Ed and two subjects like History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy in graduation can apply. RPSC has said in the correction letter that the rest of the rules will remain the same as before.
