UPPSC RO ARO Mains 2025: Application Process Begins for Mains Examination, Deadline Set for October 31
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially begun the application process for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Mains Examination. This comes as a significant update for candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary stage earlier this year. The last date to submit applications for the Mains exam is October 31, 2025.
Prelims Exam Conducted in July 2025The preliminary examination for 419 RO/ARO posts was conducted on July 27, 2025, across various centers in Uttar Pradesh. Following this, the results were released on September 16, in which 74,555 candidates qualified for the next stage. These shortlisted candidates are now eligible to appear in the Mains examination.
Post-Wise Number of Qualified CandidatesAs per the official notification issued by the UPPSC, the breakup of successful candidates is as follows:

How to Apply for the Mains ExamEligible and interested candidates can now apply for the Mains examination through the official UPPSC website — uppsc.up.nic.in. To complete the process successfully, candidates must follow these steps carefully:
Visit the official UPPSC website.
On the homepage, click on the link titled “SAMIKSHA ADHIKARI / SAHAYAK SAMIKSHA ADHIKARI (Mains) Exam-2023”.
Register with the required details and generate login credentials.
Log in using your credentials and fill out the Mains application form accurately.
Review all entered details carefully before final submission.
Download and print the completed form for future reference.
After filling out the online form, candidates must send a printed copy of the filled application form along with all necessary documents to the UPPSC office address by registered post.
The envelope should be addressed to:
“Former Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Examination Section-4),
10 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Prayagraj, PIN – 211018.”
The commission has strictly instructed that the hard copy of the form must reach the office by 5:00 PM on November 7, 2025. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.
