IIT Bombay: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) has launched a fourteen-week online professional certification program in cybersecurity and software development. These courses aim to enhance candidates' professional skills and provide career opportunities in high-demand fields.
Developed by IIT Bombay's Trust Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, these courses are designed to meet current industry needs.
The application deadline is December 31, 2025, and courses will commence on January 4, 2026. Interested candidates can apply at trustedge.iitb.ac.in.
Objective of the New Courses
Network Security (Cybersecurity Course): This 14-week course focuses on protecting computer networks from cyber threats. It will provide you with practical knowledge of network security, secure protocols, and security techniques.
Full-Stack MERN Development (Software Development Course): This 14-week course teaches you the skills to build and launch secure and scalable web applications using modern frameworks and server setups.
IIT Bombay's Practical Online Course
IIT Bombay explains that these courses are designed to provide students with both academic knowledge and practical experience. This means you'll not only study, but also learn how to work.
Each course consists of three simple and structured courses, led by IIT faculty. There will also be weekly practical sessions that will prepare you for a real-world work environment. This will ensure you not only learn but also be fully prepared for work.
