Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel to inaugurate Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference on October 9

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 6 (ANI): The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for North Gujarat is scheduled to take place on October 9- 10, 2025, at Ganpat University in Mehsana, marking a significant milestone in North Gujarat's journey toward Viksit Gujarat - Viksit Bharat by 2047. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate this grand event, a Gujarat CMO release said.
During the occasion, Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & IT, Government of India, Ashwini Vaishnaw; ISRO Chairman, Dr V Narayanan and Astronaut, Shubhanshu Shukla will be present.
Before the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Minister and other dignitaries will visit and experience the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition, which will showcase cutting-edge innovations, products, and technologies from diverse sectors. The event will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, MSMEs, startups, Overseas buyers, large companies, Government departments, PSU, and global partners to advance the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local, and sustainable economic growth.
VGRC North Gujarat will feature strong international participation, with partner countries including Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. The Netherlands is also a partner country for agriculture sector-specific seminars.


The event will also see the involvement of prominent partner organisations, including the World Bank, Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Trade representations of the Russian Federation, Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC), and US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
Spanning across an expansive 18,000 sq. m. exhibition area, the tradeshow will feature over 400 exhibitors from sectors like Agro & Food processing, Renewable Energy and corporate giants, namely, Torrent, Welspun, NHPC, NTPC, Kosol, Suzlon, Avaada, Nirma, INOX, Adani, Maruti Suzuki, Power grid and ONGC.

To highlight emerging opportunities and sustainable innovations, the event will host dedicated pavilions for Agri-Tech, Green Energy, and Food-Tech, including public sector units, MSMEs, cottage industries and rural startups, offering a diverse showcase of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Recognising India's growing international engagement, the conference will also include exclusive international pavilions for Japan, South Korea and Vietnam, fostering bilateral trade, investment partnerships, and technological exchange.
As part of the Exhibition, the Vendor Development Program (VDP) will be organised with organisations such as Dudhsagar Dairy, ONGC, Western Railway, and McCain Foods, among others, aimed at strengthening industry linkages and promoting local enterprise development.
Furthermore, a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) will bring together 34 International buyers from 17 countries, promoting trade and business opportunities. Additionally, more than 500 meetings are planned between buyers and local sellers to promote exports.
Udyami Mela will also be organised to provide valuable networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, mentors, and institutions. The event aims to create awareness among aspiring entrepreneurs about various government schemes, policies, and initiatives, encouraging innovation, enterprise development, and participation in Gujarat's growing startup ecosystem.
Further enriching the experience, the Food Court of traditional regional cuisine, millet-based items, will promote North Gujarat's rich culinary heritage, aligning with India's global initiative to popularise Shree Anna (millets) as a symbol of healthy living and sustainable farming.
In the spirit of 'Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi', the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference will celebrate local entrepreneurship, rural innovation, and the strength of community-driven growth, reaffirming Gujarat's pivotal role in India's development journey.
The event would amplify the regional empowerment, global collaboration, and sustainable progress -- a step closer to realising the vision of Viksit Gujarat to Viksit Bharat. (ANI)
