"Nishikant Dubey is sleeper cell of BJP": Congress MP Chamala

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 21 (ANI): Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday called BJP MP Nishikant Dubey a "sleeper cell" of the BJP both inside and outside the Parliament.
Speaking to ANI, Chamala claimed that it is a strategy used by the BJP to provoke Nishikant Dubey to make controversial statements.
"Nishikant Dubey is a sleeper cell of BJP in the House and outside it. When the BJP doesn't want the House to run, they will use him to make derogatory remarks against opposition leaders. JP Nadda distanced himself from his comment, but he has been provoked to make these remarks," he said.
Chamala also took a dig at BRS working president KT Rama Rao, questioning the inconsistencies in his party's formation.

"What celebration is he doing for his party? Is it for BRS that was formed 2 years ago, or TRS that doesn't exist and started in 2000 or 2001?" Chamala remarked. "There is no 'Telangana' in the Party's title. He is also trying to promote himself and his father," he added.
In his criticism of the financial situation in Telangana, Chamala said, "Surplus budget was given to you (the previous BRS government) since 2014, but you took the state towards Rs 8 lakh crore loan. I want him to be a constructive leader, not a destructive one."

Meanwhile, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working President KT Rama Rao on Saturday expressed surprise over Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's silence regarding the prosecution complaint (chargesheet) against top Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in connection with the money laundering case involving the National Herald.
"The deafening silence of Revanth Reddy on the chargesheet filed against his top leaders, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, is surprising. Every Congress leader across the country is speaking about it except Revanth Reddy. I think it is the fear of the 'big brother' or due to political developments in the future," he said.
On April 15, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a prosecution complaint (chargesheet) against top Congress members Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in connection with the money laundering case involving the National Herald.
The chargesheet also names Congress leader Sam Pitroda, Suman Dubey and others, including several firms. (ANI)
