Tesla has finally entered the Indian markets with the launch of Model Y. The company offers two variants of the electric SUV. The vehicle comes with several features which could potentially draw costumers towards the brand.

The Model Y rear-wheel drive will start at Rs 59.89 lakh and is placed amongst it rivals. Kia EV6 costs Rs 65.9 lakh, Hyundai Ioniq 5 is at around Rs 46 lakh, and the BMW iX1 costs Rs 56.35 lakh. Model Y, as a premium EV prmises a good deal.
Full-Self Driving (FSD) Capability
Tesla is famous for its FSD capability. India's roads might not be fully ready for true self-driving just yet, but with FSD, drivers get all the advanced driver assistance systems that make everyday commuting safer and less tiring.
Real-World Range
The Long Range variant claims up to 622 km on a single charge, while the standard Rear-Wheel Drive version offers 500 km, making it a good drive even on highways and between cities.
Better Quality Interiors
The Model Y will come with updates. It will feature higher quality materials, improved fit and finish, and an offer a more premium feel inside the cabin.
Dual Screens For Tech Lovers
Tesla’s iconic 15.4-inch central touchscreen dominates the dashboard, handling almost every function. There is also a 7.2 inch screen in the backseat for those in the rear seats to enjoy entertainment or adjust settings without bothering the driver.
Spacious & Practical Cabin
The cabin adds extra comfort with a powered recliner function. Additionally, with all seats folded, you get a massive 2,130 litres of cargo space, enough for multiple suitcases, camping gear, or that last-minute IKEA run.
‘Dog Mode’ For Pet Parents
Tesla also offers the Dog Mode, which has been a massive hit among its global users. This mode keeps the AC running and displays a message on the screen letting passersby know your furry friend is safe and while you are away for the car.

If you are stuck for a long charging stop, it will not be boring with Tesla Arcade, which turns the car into a gaming lounge, just pair a controller and you can get entertained while you wait.
