Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal engaged in 2022 proves this pic?

After much speculation, buzz, and drama surrounding their marriage, Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23, 2024. While the actors dated each other for a long time, they kept their relationship private and refrained from commenting about it in public. It was only after the couple got married that Sonakshi revealed in a social media post that she and Zaheer dated for seven years before finally getting married.


However, in 2022 there were rumours of Sonakshi getting engaged. The reason: Sonakshi had posted pictures of herself wearing a solitaire diamond ring set on a gold band. In the background, one could also see a mystery man standing with her.

Back then Sonakshi had put the rumours to rest, saying that she was promoting her new nail-care entrepreneurial venture. “Ok ok, I think I've teased you enough!! Lots of hints were dropped and not a single lie was told! Big day for me because I'm launching my very own brand SOEZI @itssoezi… every girl's one-stop-shop for amazing nails, all day every day... One of my biggest dreams coming true because finally I step into the world of entrepreneurship and I couldn’t wait to share it with YOU!! And lastly, I was actually just flaunting my new love - my @itssoezi NAILS in the pictures… what did you think??? Hahahaha, love you guys! Thank you for the immense support always ❤️ #girlpower," Sonakshi had posted on Instagram.

But now that her wedding pictures are out, we think otherwise! On a closer look, Sonakshi is seen wearing the same ring with a diamond band in her wedding pictures and this makes us wonder if she actually got engaged to Zaheer in 2022. Pictures and videos from Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding and reception were all over the internet and went viral a few days back.
