The latest episode (August 13) of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 begins with Viren exposing Pari's past relationship with Ranvijay, leaving Ajay's family furious. Pari breaks down, comforted by her brothers, while Viren apologises for revealing her past. Indira is angry, questioning how the family accepted Pari despite her not knowing cooking and wanting to study further, yet her affair was hidden. Ajay reassures everyone that he knew about Pari's past and does not care, shocking the family. Indira, however, criticises him for not informing them and for taking Pari's side.
Noina steps in, urging Indira not to call off Pari and Ajay's wedding. Mihir also pleads with her. Indira eventually agrees but asks Tulsi to apologise to Viren for calling the cops and falsely accusing him of misbehaving with Munni. Mihir apologises on Tulsi’s behalf, and Tulsi eventually apologises to Viren, who forgives her. With the misunderstanding resolved, Ajay's family leaves Shantiniketan.

An emotional Pari hugs her father, Mihir and thanks him for ensuring her wedding goes smoothly, but he directs her gratitude to Noina, whom Pari calls 'god-sent' for saving the day. Pari confronts Tulsi about choosing Munni over her again and questions why the police were called. Nandini reveals she called the police, angering Pari further, as she had earlier tried to influence Tulsi. Mihir warns Tulsi not to give Viren a character certificate, stressing that nothing should obstruct Pari’s wedding henceforth.
At midnight, Viren enters Nitin’s house, demanding repayment of Rs 5 lakh, claiming the family broke their deal after Vrinda went to the police. Vrinda’s mother tells Viren that they will repay him but refuses his threats.
Munni seeks forgiveness from Tulsi, telling her that she is leaving Shantiniketan and regrets not exposing Viren’s misbehaviour earlier, which caused Tulsi to face insults. Tulsi clarifies that she did not apologise to Viren because of him, but for her daughter’s happiness.
