YouTuber Elvish Yadav's fans trolled TV actress Divyanka Tripathi on social media after she failed to recognise him in the latest episode of the cooking-based reality show Laughter Chefs Season 2, where she appeared as a special guest. She also mistakenly called him Samarth (Jurel). The actress responded to the trolls on Monday with a befitting reply, effectively shutting them down.

Elvish himself has now stepped in to support the actress, urging his fans not to troll her. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday evening, he wrote, "Guys, I don't use social media much & I'm confused about why people are trolling Divyanka. But guys, she's super chill & deserves respect! My request: please stop trolling her. Let's spread kindness instead."

What Is The Divyanka Tripathi-Elvish Yadav Controversy?
For those unversed, Divyanka recently appeared on the reality show Laughter Chefs 2, during which she mistook Elvish for Samarth Jurel while meeting everyone on stage.
She was seen shaking hands with Elvish and saying, "Hi Samarth", to which Aly Goni, Krushna Abhishek and the others were seen laughing out loud.
Divyanka instantly apologised and also joked that the part must be trimmed or else Elvish's fans would troll her on social media.
