New style
A senior leader of the BJP has changed his style of wearing. Many people previously saw him in a kurta and a pajama or in a safari suit, but now, he wears a dhoti and a kurta. But before switching over to the Indian outfit, he used to wear a dhoti and a kurta only at religious functions. He has, however, begun to put on the Indian attire, dhoti-kurta, on all occasions. There were three former chief ministers of the BJP in the state, who wore dhoti and kurta. Besides these three leaders’, the people in the corridors of power are discussing this leader’s attire. In fact, religion and Sanatan are linked to the style of working of this leader. In his speech and meetings, the word Sanatan becomes the main word, which now manifests in his dress. The outfit of this leader drew the attention of everyone at an event organised by the BJP. Initially, when was holding important position, he did not pay much attention to his clothes, but now, he seems to have learnt how to live in style.
In trouble
A politician who defected from the Congress to the BJP is in a soup these days. The politician, also a former minister, was a witness to an incident that took place on a train. He did not know the reasons behind the beating up of a person on the train. Although he failed to unveil the mystery behind the incident, he wrote a post on social media. After a while, he came to know that a BJP legislator is responsible for the episode about which he scrawled a post. By the time he deleted the post many people had taken its screenshot. A video footage of the train episode also went viral. In the CCTV footage, the former minister, like other passengers on the train, was silently witnessing the incident of a hapless man being thrashed. The politician is facing criticism for not rescuing the man from the hands of attackers. Now, the politician does not want to talk to anyone on the matter.
Is he magician?
A politician hailing from the town of a minister of the state cabinet has started considering the minister a magician. The minister has worked under three chief ministers, but he has been close to each of them. The people in the corridors of power rarely discussed the matter. But now, they are nattering about it. The minister is considered a staunch supporter of a politician who defected from the Congress to the BJP. The boss of this politician could not become the chief minister after the Congress formed its government. After becoming a minister, he wooed his detractors. He became very close to the then chief minister of the Congress. Then he switched over to the BJP. He became close to the chief minister of the BJP government. During that period, the minister had a lot of influence on the government. After the assembly election, when a government was formed under the leadership of another politician, people thought his influence would wane. But in reality, it was just the opposite because the minister still wields power. He has a say in every work done by the government. Despite this, the minister is close to his boss. Now, the BJP leaders want to know from the minister the reason behind his ability to woo the chief ministers.
Political heat stroke
There are discussions about the political fever of a BJP leader. The BJP recently organised a training camp in Pachmarhi. A senior legislator of the party, now angry with the government and the organisation, expressed his inability to participate in the camp. A leader of the party organisation called up to say the senior leader would not attend the camp, for he was down with heat stroke. When the other legislators from the same region as the senior BJP MLA came from, reached Pachmarhi to participate in the Chintan Shivir, they said the politician was not down with heat stroke. Everyone said he had been alright. As the senior leaders of the party got the information, they said it was nothing but a political heat stroke. The senior legislator is angry with his own party. The reason for his anger is that the party has not made him a minister and that it is promoting his detractor. Ergo, he is pouring out anger against the party again and again.
Madhya Pradesh: Exercise For Election Of State BJP President IntensifiesAngry leader
A senior politician of the Congress is angry with his own party leaders. He is angry with some leaders who, after Rahul Gandhi’s visit, are showing their power in the opinion polls for electing district presidents of the party. In most of the places, the party’s legislators are involved in the show of strength. There are reports that after an incident in Bhopal, the politician had to give an explanation to a senior leader of the party in Delhi. The party bosses advised him to take action over the issue, but fearing an adverse impact, he swept the matter under the carpet. Some people say that a few leaders of the Congress are planning to show the politician as a weak-kneed person before the high command. For this reason, some people are trying to create a ruckus at the events organised by the party to show this leader in a poor light before the high command. They are using some legislators to orchestrate such chaos in the party events.
Doing odd things
Politicians rarely find time for themselves and their families. Once someone has entered the premises of politics, he has to live there. But a few top politicians are trying to spare some time for themselves. A former chief minister and now a union minister recently ploughed his field with the help of a tractor, and a video of the incident went viral on social media. A senior Congress leader climbed a mango tree to pluck a king of fruits. The golden mangoes tempted him so much that he was oblivious of his surroundings and position. He climbed up the tree to pluck a few to appease his tongue. The idea was not bad. Similarly, a union minister from the Gwalior belt tried his hand at gilli danda, a popular game in the country’s rural areas. Wisemen say gilli danda is the father of cricket. However, the way the minister hit the gilli with the danda surprised those around him. One day, he may recommend its inclusion in the Olympics or Asian Games!
