Badnawar (Madhya Pradesh): MLA Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat on Monday garlanded the statue of Sant Raidas and performed bhoomi pujan of CC road worth Rs 10 lakh in villages of Sadalpur region. Here residents demanded a community building and complained of ongoing electricity problems in ward no 16.
During the visit to gram panchayat Kandaria, Shekhawat instructed local tehsildar regarding allotment of land for the proposed hospital and also called the housing board official over phone and gave him necessary instructions related to construction of the hospital.
He performed bhoomi pujan of a CC road in Sarvania village. Here, villagers demanded housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and tanker to solve the drinking water problem.
He also performed bhoomi pujan of CC road worth Rs 6 lakh in Khacharoda village and inaugurated the electric transformer installed at Rs 4 lakh in Mundla village.
MLA Shekhawat also performed pooja at the Shiv temple in Satkui Dham Babarda and announced a fund of Rs 9.5 lakh for a shed at the temple along with an additional Rs 10 lakh for future religious works.
He said that the region will be further developed with improvement in irrigation facilities and drinking water problem will be solved when Narmada water comes into the area. Congress vice president Harinarayan Singh Panwar, block president Kapil Bamedi and others were present.
