In summers, yogurt helps in cooling the body. But do you know that there are some things which if eaten with yogurt or immediately after it can cause serious reactions in the body? These wrong food combinations can spoil your digestive system and can have a poisonous effect. Let's know what should not be eaten with yogurt in summers?
Cereals - It is generally not advisable to mix yogurt with cereals, especially things like white rice or bread should not be eaten with yogurt.
Urad dal - Both urad dal and curd are heavy. When eaten together, it puts a lot of stress on digestion. This can cause problems like gas, acidity, constipation and flatulence.
Non-veg - The combination of curd and non-veg is considered toxic in Ayurveda. It can cause skin diseases, allergies and stomach upset. Eating curd with fish also increases the risk of skin rashes or fungal infections.
Chopped fruits - Some people make fruit yogurt by mixing fruits in yogurt, but it is not safe with every fruit. Especially citrus fruits like orange, pomegranate or kiwi mixed with yogurt can have a toxic effect on the body.
Sour things - Curd itself is a sour food. Eating sour things with it can cause acidity, indigestion, and inflammation in the intestines. This combination can spoil the digestive system.
