Israel Iran Clash: Israel prepared a hit list, handed it over to PM Netanyahu, these Iranian bases will be hit with havoc

The tension in the Middle East is going to deepen even more now, as Israel is fully prepared for a retaliatory attack on Iran. The country's army has selected the targets where it can attack. The eyes of the whole world are fixed on how big a retaliation Israel will take in response to Iran's October 1 missile attack.

Iran then fired about 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. Israel's Channel 12 News reported that the Israel Defense Force (IDF) has handed over a list of targets to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant while finalizing the preparations. This list also includes sensitive coordinates of other countries in that region.

Public broadcaster Kan said the political leadership had set the targets. However, it did not say which officer or institution selected these targets. The report quoted an Israeli source as saying, "The targets are clear. Now we are just waiting for the right time."

Israel informed America about the attack

The report further states that Israel had already informed America about its plan to attack Iran, but it has not yet given an update about the targets where it can attack.

The source also said, "The targets can also change at the 11th hour i.e. at the last moment." From this you can guess how far ahead Israel is preparing that even if something goes wrong at the last moment, it will have many other targets to attack.

Defense Minister Galant claimed that Israel will respond to Iran "soon." He told the families of the hostages, "It will be a precise and deadly response."

Iran's military site on target

Earlier, the Washington Post reported that Netanyahu told President Joe Biden during a phone call on October 8 that Israel's retaliation would not attack non-military sites. An official was quoted as saying that this attack would be done to avoid political interference in the US elections.

Earlier it was believed that Israel was thinking of attacking Iran's oil infrastructure or nuclear sites. However, the US opposed both the options saying that this would escalate the fight further.

However, a recent Washington Post report quoted Israeli sources as saying that during a phone call with US President Joe Biden on October 8, Netanyahu told that Israel's target would be Iran's military bases.

No attack on oil facility and nuclear site

The report quoted an official as saying that Israel's action plan has been prepared in such a way that it does not affect the US presidential election to be held on November 5.

Any possible Israeli attack on Iran's oil facility could lead to a rise in prices and if a nuclear site is attacked, it will close off the remaining avenues for de-escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel and could also pose a direct threat to US military intervention.

Finally, Netanyahu's office issued a statement saying that we are listening to the views of the US government, but the final decision will be taken keeping in mind Israel's national security needs.
