Bihar News: A sensational case has come to light from Gaya, Bihar, where a DSP of NIA, Ajay Pratap Singh, has been arrested red-handed by the CBI while taking a bribe of Rs 20 lakh. Along with the DSP, two of his agents have also been caught. This action was taken on the complaint of Rocky Yadav, owner of Ramaiya Construction. Rocky Yadav had accused the DSP of demanding bribe.

DSP arrested while taking bribe

Actually, the NIA was investigating Rocky Yadav on charges of providing assistance to the Naxalites and supplying illegal weapons. In this connection, on September 19, the NIA raided Rocky Yadav's house and office. During the raid, cash worth more than Rs 1.5 crore and 10 illegal weapons were recovered. The investigation of this case was under DSP Ajay Pratap Singh, who was posted at a senior position in the NIA.

Action taken on owner's complaint

It is alleged that in this case the DSP had demanded a bribe of Rs 2.5 crore from Rocky Yadav so that he could get relief in the case. An amount of Rs 20 lakh was being given as the first installment. DSP Ajay Pratap Singh was taking this bribe through his two agents. Rocky Yadav was threatened that if he did not pay this amount, he and his family would be implicated in false cases.

Accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 2.5 crore from Rocky Yadav

The CBI carried out this entire operation in a very planned manner and arrested DSP Ajay Pratap Singh red handed along with his agents. After this, the CBI raided several places in Patna, Varanasi and Gaya, from where many important documents have been recovered. According to CBI officials, the DSP has admitted to demanding money and threatening Rocky Yadav during interrogation. At present, the investigation in this case is going on and the CBI is engaged in further action.
