If any craftsman or artisan wants to start his own business and is facing difficulties in getting a loan. In such a situation, he can apply for a loan under this scheme. A total loan of Rs 3 lakh is given under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
In this, while starting a business, one lakh rupees are given to the beneficiary in the first phase. After this, a loan of Rs 2 lakh is provided in the second phase to expand the business. You have to pay only a five percent interest rate on this loan.
Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, training is also given to artisans and craftsmen. Not only this, a stipend of Rs 500 per day is also given. Apart from this, a Vishwakarma certificate and ID card are also provided to the beneficiary.
Under the scheme, the beneficiary is also provided a toolkit incentive of Rs 15,000 and an incentive for digital transactions. People from 18 to 50 years can avail the benefits of this scheme.
