Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz pull out of Met Gala appearance amid family feud

and have quietly withdrawn from tonight's amid ongoing family tensions, it's been reported. It was thought that the couple could be among the guests on the red carpet the event in the US.

It's however now been claimed that Brookyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, cancelled their appearance over the weekend, with them instead opting to remain in the UK. The decision to stay in London is said to have originally been tied to his father 's milestone 50th birthday celebrations.

David, now 50, was at a star-studded party on Saturday night. Brooklyn and Nicola however are thought to have been absent, with them said to have also for the occasion.

A source told the Sun: "They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David's party on Saturday. But Brooklyn is really upset that blame for the rift has been levelled at Nicola. She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive - she's a loyal wife."

The Beckhams have made headlines in recent weeks over within the family. Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly haven't attended several festivities for David's 50th birthday, including on the weekend. There's between Brooklyn and some of his relatives.
