Celebrity Big Brother star prepares to leave the house tonight - and will be straight back to wedding planning as he . The actor, who has been on a staple in the cobbles for 25 years, has received the support of his fiancée Hanni Treweek while in the iconic house.
The 35-year-old met his fiancée Hanni on the set of the soap when she worked as a storyline writer and researcher. The pair struck up a relationship in 2017, and Jack in June 2024.
Despite meeting on set, the pair actually got together at a mutual friends wedding. Speaking to the Jack recalled: "We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it."
Just on year later, in January 2018, the pair made their relationship public with Jack telling that Hanni is his 'soulmate'. During an appearance on , Jack and Hanni discussed their future plans, including marriage and children, as Hanni said: "I think we fell quite quickly and from that we just clicked, and we were on the same page, and you do have those conversations but yeah I think we would like to... in the future."
In June 2024, after six years of being together, Jack popped the question to Hanni during a safari holiday in Tanzania. His fiancé Hanni took to her page at the time to share the exciting announcement, writing: "05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!" Five months later, in October, Jack and Hanni revealed that they had set a date for their special day - and they're set to finally tie the knot on July 26 of this year.
Whilst Jack has been in the house Hanni has gushed over how much she's been missing him as she made - and also spilled the beans on the wedding planning.
"It's already out there that we're getting married in July so we've got plenty to look forward to - WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!" she exclaimed.
Speaking on the comments that Jack had been 'reserved' in the house, Hanni said: "I really feel like he's getting more comfortable now, he's coming out of his shell. We also have to remember he's only been in the house just over a week. Maybe when the group gets smaller he will open up.
"But ultimately, he's in there to have a good time, to have fun, and to make sure we're all laughing which we all seem to be doing. He's doing such a great job in the house and I'm so proud of him."
During the appearance on Lorraine Nicola Thorpe, who played Nicola Rubinstein in Coronation Street exclaimed: "Poor Hanni, we have to keep him in the house because she's sick of coming up and down back from Manchester to London!"
Hanni then responded: "I can not go down to London again! I need some breathing space, so we need to manifest that he's not up for eviction," she laughed. Last night, Hanni appeared on Big Brother's Late and Live live from their house as she confirmed she'll be in London tonight to greet Jack when he leaves the house.
