Samsung is back with some new bendable phones and they look flippin' impressive. The Korean technology giant has just revealed its latest Galaxy range at its Unpacked event in New York, which has made things thinner, faster and way more durable.
For those wanting a tablet squeezed in their pocket, there's the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, which opens like a book to reveal a massive 8-inch screen.
To make this year's model easier to handle, Samsung has put it on a serious diet and reduced the size and weight. In fact, it's now so skinny, the firm is boasting this is officially its thinnest and lightest foldable ever. Measuring in at just 8.9mm, it's actually thinner when folded than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Despite its wafer-thin appearance, it's also supremely powerful thanks to it packing the hugely impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite chip under its shell. That means everything from app launching, multitasking, gaming and productivity will see a boost in speed.
Of course, when you see how thin it is, there could be worries about durability. Luckily, Samsung reckons it has that covered thanks to it being made of tough stuff. Owners should be able to happily use if for years thanks to an Armour FlexHinge, Gorilla Glass and an Advanced Armour Aluminium frame.
Other features include a more useful 6.5-inch cover screen that's now slightly bigger than before. It also gets an improved triple-lens camera with main 200MP lens and smart upgrades such as auto image editing and audio eraser which gets rid of noise in your videos.
It will arrive this month and cost a hefty £1,799.
The Z Fold 7 looks impressive, but it's not the only new device arriving from Samsung.
Along with that foldable, there's also a new Z Flip 7 coming soon as well. This flippable device arrives with a more expansive front display which makes it easier to reply to messages and play games without flipping open the main 6.9-inch panel.
It also gets a bigger battery, improved design and more power thanks to Samsung's Exynos chip inside. It will cost £1,049 when it goes in sale.
Finally, Samsung is introducing a Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE which makes owning a new bendy call maker a little more affordable. It's not quite as feature-packed as its siblings but it only costs £849.
“We’re entering into a new era of smartphone innovation. As AI becomes the new UI, people need devices
that learn, understand and anticipates their needs,” said Annika Bizon, Mobile Experience VP of Product
and Marketing, Samsung UK & Ireland. “The new Galaxy Z Fold7 combines powerful hardware with
Galaxy AI in an ultra thin and ultra sleek form factor – supporting people to get things done in previously
unimaginable ways.”
