Tom Felton reveals which Harry Potter cast member he had a crush on

Tom Felton has admitted who he was crushing on during filming for the films. The actor played Draco Malfoy - a Hogwarts student, enemy of Harry Potter and follower of Lord Voldemort.

An old interview between Tom and Radio 1 presenter Matt Edmondson has resurfaced. In the video, the two are playing 'plank on me' - a game where the interviewee must answer questions while planking over Matt.

The interview is believed to be from 2015 but was posted to the BBC Radio 1 TikTok page in 2022. One of the questions Matt asks is: "Who is your celebrity crush?"

Tom gives Matt his answer right away and admitted: "Helena Bonham Carter."

"I wrote her a letter before to say 'Thanks for being such a nice auntie and I said p.s. you're really fit."

In the Harry Potter films, Helena played Bellatrix Lestrange and is the sister of Narcissa Malfoy, Draco's mum. They share quite a few scenes together and one of the most pivotal scenes is where Draco is tasked with killing Professor Dumbledore.

Bellatrix is encouraging him to get on with it - though he clearly doesn't want to - and that's when Professor Snape murders him instead.

In the comments, Potterheads are sharing their thoughts on Tom's confession.

One said: "Helena Bonham Carter isn't a weird crush - she's hot!"

While another wrote: "I wouldn't trust anyone who wasn't in love with Helena Bonham Carter."
