Top Model's Paulina Lerch, 33, shot and dead after family raised concerns as harrowing details emerge

Top Model's Paulina Lerch has been shot and killed.

Police believe that Paulina's husband Sławomir shot the reality star and model before turning to shoot himself. It's said that he was found with fatal and self-inflicted gunshot wounds inside the house where he is believed to have killed Paulina, 33.

The couple were discovered lifeless after Paulina's family struggled to contact the pair for over a week. The pair were found at their home in Poznań City, Poland on September 1. Their home had been locked from the inside but police discovered a revolver positioned next to their dead bodies.

Currently, it remains unclear whether Paulina was tragically murdered by her husband or the couple had a suicide pact together. The late model's family claimed that they hadn't heard from her for over a week before she was discovered. After raising concerns about her welfare, the family contacted the police.

It remains unclear when the shooting took place but local police are hoping that an autopsy will determine an estimated date and shed further light on Paulina and Sławomir's death due to the level of decomposition. A full investigation is now underway. Sławomir, 47, was an alleged drug trafficker and had been arrested in April May of this year, along with 30 other individuals after police found 60kg of drugs which he had hidden inside a warehouse.

The late model had appeared on the programme in her home country of Poland twice. Once in 2010 and later in 2018. After tuning the knot with Sławomir, whose nickname was Klakson, she decided to keep their romance out of the public eye.
