Uric acid is a waste product formed when your body breaks down purines, which are found in certain foods and dead cells. Most of the uric acid is dissolved in the blood and the rest is carried to the kidneys and eliminated from the body in the urine.

In such a situation, the increase in the level of uric acid in the body causes many health problems. This is a common condition, but it is important to identify its symptoms. Because ignoring it for a long time can lead to arthritis and kidney stones. In such a situation, to identify it, you must keep these symptoms in mind while urinating.

Symptoms of uric acid appearing in the urine

- When uric acid increases, the color of urine becomes dark. The urine of a healthy person is usually yellow, but if the amount of uric acid has increased, then this color can become dark yellow or brown. This can also happen due to dehydration and kidney disease.

- In case of increased uric acid, a person may feel a decrease in the amount of urine. If you are urinating less than usual, it can be a warning sign. This condition indicates a blockage in the functioning of the kidney, due to which uric acid is not able to get out properly.

- If you are feeling pain or burning while urinating, it can be a sign of high uric acid level. This can also happen due to urinary tract infection or kidney stone.

- Foamy urine can be a sign of high uric acid. Foamy urine indicates that the kidneys are not able to remove toxins from the body properly and excess protein is accumulating in it.

- Urine of a healthy person has a normal smell which goes away with flushing. But if the level of uric acid in your body is high then urine may have a strong smell. This symptom is also seen in diabetes.
