If you are a gas cylinder (LPG) consumer and you have not yet done your e-KYC, then this can be a big mistake of yours. Because it is mandatory to get e-KYC done to get a gas cylinder facility. Despite this, petroleum companies are preparing to take strict action against those consumers who are not paying attention to this. Consumers who have not done e-KYC will have difficulty in getting cylinders. They will not be able to book cylinders online.
The process of e-KYC has been going on for almost a year. Gas agencies are constantly sending messages to customers on mobile phones to get e-KYC done. Despite this, consumers who are not showing interest in it will not get the facility of online gas booking.
To get KYC done, consumers will have to go to the agency of the gas company from which they have taken the cylinder. They will have to take their Aadhaar card, gas diary, and mobile with them. Their e-KYC will be done through biometrics. Aadhaar and gas consumer numbers are necessary.
For e-KYC, an Aadhar card and gas consumer number are required. It is important that the name of the consumer to whose name the connection is. Apart from this, if the consumer wants, they can also get e-KYC done online. For this, they have to download a mobile app.
Every LPG customer must do e-KYC. Its main purpose is to identify the right consumers and ensure that they get cylinders on time. If someone has changed the address, then they can change it.
So if you have not done eKYC yet, then do it immediately, so that you keep getting LPG gas cylinder service.
