This system may slowly move towards Jharkhand in the next two days. Due to the effect of this system, heavy rains are expected in eastern Rajasthan.
Rain will increase in eastern Rajasthan from July 1Due to the activation of the low pressure area, an increase in rain activity can be seen in many parts of eastern Rajasthan from July 1. This is likely to cause a drop in temperature, relief from humidity and create beneficial conditions for agriculture.
There will be changes in western Rajasthan as well from July 2According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in rain activity in some areas of western Rajasthan from July 2. Earlier, the activity of monsoon was less in the western parts, but now the weather is expected to change here too.
36 year old record broken in ChuruIn the last 24 hours, 85.1 mm of rain was recorded in Churu district of Rajasthan, which is the highest rainfall in a single day in the month of June so far. Earlier, 81.9 mm of rain had occurred on 24th June 1988. This figure is a record since 1956.
Bikaner recorded the highest temperatureWhile it is raining at many places in the state, on the other hand, the temperature in Bikaner was recorded at 40.8 degrees Celsius, which was the highest temperature in the state. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 19.4 degrees Celsius.
Agriculture will get relief due to active monsoonThis time the early arrival of monsoon and its re-activation is a very positive sign for the agriculture sector. Farmers were waiting for rain for a long time, which is now slowly getting fulfilled. There is a possibility of increase in sowing of paddy, millet, groundnut and cotton.
