Tesla has brought exciting news for Indian buyers. Just days after its official announcement in India, the American electric car giant Tesla has opened nationwide online bookings for its Model-Y electric SUV. Now, anyone across India can book the vehicle by paying a token amount of ₹22,000.
Book from Anywhere in IndiaTesla made this announcement on its official handle on X (formerly Twitter), stating that bookings are no longer limited to select cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune. Interested customers can now place orders directly through Tesla’s website. However, Tesla clarified that the ₹22,000 token amount is non-refundable. Within a week of booking, buyers must make an additional deposit of ₹3 lakh to confirm the order.
Delivery TimelineWhile Tesla has not specified exact delivery dates, the company stated that deliveries are expected between October and December 2025.
