Nikita Porwal Crowned Femina Miss India 2024: All You Need to Know

Madhya Pradesh’s Nikita Porwal has been crowned as Femina Miss India 2024. At the prestigious event, Rekha Pandayy, representing Union Territories, was the first runner-up, while Gujarat's Ayushi Dholakia placed third.

Porwal was crowned by Nandini Gupta, the winner of Femina Miss India World 2023. Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, a former Miss India herself, adorned Porwal with the Miss India sash. Porwal will now represent India at the upcoming Miss World pageant.

About Nikita Porwal: A Life of Purpose Hailing from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Nikita Porwal completed her schooling at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School. She is currently pursuing higher studies at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Career as an Actor and Anchor Porwal began her career as a TV anchor at the age of 18 and is now an established actor. Her latest film was screened at international festivals and will soon be released in India. In addition to her on-screen work, she is a passionate theatre artist, having performed in over 60 plays. Porwal has also written a 250-page play titled “Krishna Leela,” reflecting her love for storytelling.

A Role Model in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In an interview, Porwal mentioned that she admires former Miss World and Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She praised Aishwarya for embodying both beauty and intellect, saying, "Her ability to celebrate Indian heritage while embracing modernity is truly inspiring."

About Miss India 2024 The 60th edition of the Miss India pageant was held at Famous Studios in Mumbai on October 16. Contestants from across India participated, representing every state and one Union Territory. The glamorous event saw performances by actress Sangeeta Bijlani, and the red carpet was graced by Neha Dhupia, Raghav Juyal, and jury member Anusha Dandekar.
