President Droupadi Murmu to Visit Indore for Two-Day Eventful Tour

INDORE: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Indore, Madhya Pradesh, today for a two-day official trip. She will arrive at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport at 4:50 p.m., where she will be welcomed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and other state officials.

During her stay in Indore, President Murmu will attend multiple events and address various gatherings. She is scheduled to visit the revered Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to offer prayers. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for the Indore-Ujjain six-lane road project.

On Thursday, the President will speak at the Safai Mitra Sammelan in Indore, followed by her attendance at the 14th convocation of Devi Ahilya University. The university, established in 1964, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

Security measures have been heightened in and around Indore ahead of the President's visit. The police have implemented a temporary ban on drones, paragliders, and hot air balloons within a 3-kilometer radius of key areas including the airport, MG Road, Residency Kothi, and Bhanwarkuan intersection.

After completing her engagements in Indore, President Murmu will head to Jharkhand on September 20, where she will address the centenary celebration of the ICAR-National Institute of Secondary Agriculture in Ranchi.
