However, she got real recognition with the role of Dr. Simran Chopra in the 2003 show 'Sanjeevani: A Medical Boon'. After this, she became a household name by playing the role of Monisha Sarabhai in 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai'.

Long list of hit shows: Rupali then worked in many hit shows like 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki', 'Kaavyanjali', 'Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai', 'Baa Bahu Aur Baby'. These days she is playing the lead role in the TV show 'Anupama', which is becoming a huge hit. Rupali Ganguly has now become the highest paid actress on TV. According to reports, she charges Rs 3 lakh per episode of 'Anupama'. Her journey is a proof of her struggle and hard work.
