
Carlos Alcaraz has just penned his 10th sponsorship deal as he continues to rake in the cash after failing to defend his Wimbledon crown. The Spaniard had not lost a match at the All England Club since 2022, lifting the title two years in a row, but Jannik Sinner came from a set down to beat him in Sunday's final.
Just days after his 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 defeat at Wimbledon, the world No. 2 has become a global brand ambassador for Danone's high protein brand GetPRO. As part of the multi-year partnership, he has been given the role of Chief Progress Officer.
The five-time Major winner said: "As an athlete, I know how important it is to keep growing, no matter what you've already achieved.
"Progress is personal - it's about learning, improving, and pushing yourself forward, whether that means chasing a championship or just getting a little better each day.
"I'm excited to work with GetPRO high protein to inspire others to unlock their own potential day after day and embrace their own journey. Because everyone, including myself, is a work in progress."
It's the second brand endorsement Alcaraz has agreed to during the grass season. Ahead of Wimbledon, he was unveiled as Evian's latest global brand ambassador, joining Emma Raducanu, Frances Tiafoe and Arthur Fils.
The Spaniard already had contracts with eight other companies. Aged just 22, Alcaraz was the world's highest-paid tennis player last year and, according to Forbes, has a net worth of £31.5m.
He's already banked £7m in prize money this season, but most of his earnings come from his off-court endeavours.
The world No. 2 renewed his apparel deal with Nike last summer and reportedly earns £11m to £15m a year as part of the agreement. He is also sponsored by Calvin Klein, and is a house ambassador for luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton.
Alcaraz has a long-standing partnership with Babolat for his equipment, which will run until 2030. Like most players, he also has watch and car sponsors, and his brands of choice are Rolex and BMW.
The 22-year-old has a deal with sunscreen company ISDIN and has his own version of their Fotoprotector Fusion Water Magic SPF.
Perhaps his most unusual sponsor is El Pozo, a food company known for its cooked, cured, fresh, and frozen meats, including chorizo rings. They signed a three-year deal in 2022, which can be extended for another three years.
