Donald Trump's furious eight words to Melania during fiery exchange revealed by lip reader

A lip reader has revealed exactly what was said between Donald Trump and Melania Trump after footage of the pair having a seemingly animated exchange went viral.

Extraordinary footage was captured showing the US President and the First Lady have a finger-wagging discussion through the windows of Marine One. It was filmed on the South Lawn on Wednesday night.

The video went viral on social media and it drew comparisons with the incredible moment Emmanuel Macron was shoved by Brigitte in May.

During the exchange, Trump waves his finger at Melania who shakes her head, and expert lip reader Jeremy Freeman has analysed what he thinks was said.

Jeremy suggested Trump was talking about the "escalator-gate" incident at the United Nations General Assembly this week, rather than aiming his frustrations at something his wife did.

Jeremy, speaking to the Daily Mail, believes Melania said: "You just continued..." Trump followed up with: "It was unbelievable." Then, Melania hit back with: "Just say it and leave it..."

Seemingly flabbergasted, Trump then replied: "How can you do that..." It wasn't long before the powerful couple then got off the helicopter and crossed the lawn while holding hands.

The escalator incident, where Trump was greeted at the UN General Assembly in Manhattan with a broken escalator, saw him write on Truth Social that it was "amazing that Melania and I didn't fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first. It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster".

Earlier this year, Trump offered advice to the Macrons after footage of them went viral showing Brigitte pushing the French President in the face on board an aircraft.

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked Trump: "There was a video of the First Lady of France slapping her husband, Emmanuel Macron. Do you have any world leader-to-world leader marital advice?"

"Make sure the door remains closed," he answered. "That was not good. I spoke to him. He's fine. They're fine.

"They're two really good people. I know him very well, and I don't know what that was all about. But I know him very well, and they're fine."
