humorously stormed out of the CBS studio set after Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries teased him about his suit being 'too small'. The former Manchester City defender was interviewing Dumfries following his impressive performance against Barcelona, where he scored two goals. Dumfries, aged 29, netted a goal in each half during Inter's thrilling 3-3 draw in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash.
His initial goal put Inter ahead by 2-0 within the first 21 minutes, but Barca managed to equalise before half-time. A well-executed header from Dumfries regained Inter's lead in the 64th minute, only for the hosts to retaliate once more, setting the stage for an exciting second leg in Milan next Wednesday.
After being named player of the match, Dumfries joined CBS Sports' team of Kate Scott, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Richards for a chat. Richards followed up on Scott's introductory questions by asking if the Dutch international was named after the legendary actor Denzel Washington. Dumfries confirmed this and expressed his enjoyment of CBS' Champions League coverage.
When Richards asked who Dumfries' favourite member of the team was, he responded: "Oh, this is tough. You are my favourite." In response, an elated Richards approached the big screen displaying Dumfries' image and exclaimed: "Denzel, I love you."
The 29-year-old then quipped: "But remember what (Inter team-mate) Marcus Thuram said: your suit is a little bit too small."
This snarky comment caught Richards off guard, prompting him to jovially exit the set amidst Henry and Carragher's roaring laughter. Dumfries laughed: "I'm joking, I'm joking, my friend."

The show was whisked into a break while Scott and Carragher extended their thanks to Dumfries for his time. In the midst of the laughter, Henry couldn't resist pointing out that Richards' blazer sleeves were slightly wanting in length, teasing: "When he comes back, please can we go to the sleeves?"
Richards couldn't stay away for long and returned to face presenter Scott, assigning some blame with a lighthearted jab: "You know what, I blame you. On socials, you're lambasting me every week, so everyone thinks it's fine now."
Scott, seizing the moment for another gentle tease, said with a smirk: "Do you feel comfortable with your sleeve length?"
The playful interrogation sparked Richards to retort, "What you trying to say?" before Carragher, ever the instigator, directed him to demonstrate the reach of his sleeves.
The inevitable recognition of his style hiccup came as Richards raised his arms, only to surrender to amusement and burst into laughter, acknowledging his fashion faux pas.
