The pair will then fly back to Britain on 26 October.

However, the Queen is said not to like flying and finds lengthy royal tours tiring, according to a royal expert.

Editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, told : "Queen Camilla is 76. She gets very tired because she's not born to this royal life. I know she's been in it a long time, but she's not born to it, and I think people sometimes forget that Camilla's never actually had a job.

The royal expert believes Camilla finds the trips "extremely exhausting".

"She doesn't like flying," Ms Seward added, going on to say that Camilla isn't a "great traveller" and often "feels uncomfortable".

"So it's not the most pleasurable thing to do for her to whisk across to Australia although it might be really exciting for somebody younger", she went on.

Express.co.uk is in Australia for the royal tour, and Royal Editor Emily Ferguson noted that the Sydney rain stopped just before Their Majesties landed.

The pair landed at 8:30pm local time, touching down in an Australian government plane, after flying commerically to Singapore.
