This safe and effective solution will have your home rat-free in just a few hours. In their video, they explained: "I've got a homemade trick that's natural, affordable, and easy to make."

Adding that this will also deter cockroaches from your home, too, the expert reveals just how to make the anti-rat solution, starting by grabbing a cucumber.

"Slice it into thin, even pieces, selecting the larger ones for the next step. Set those slices aside while we prepare the magic mixture," said the experts.

For the "magic mixture", just take a container or small bowl, and mix three tablespoons of baking soda, two tablespoons of flour, and one tablespoon of sugar.

Then simply just sprinkle this mixture on the cucumber slices and place them in areas that you've seen rats or roaches, making sure to also cover under the sink, along baseboards and near any entry points that these pests may use.

When this mixture is consumed by rats, the baking soda and flour will expand in their stomachs, causing digestive issues.

While the sugar is needed as a bait ingredient to draw the pests to the cucumbers.

You should begin noticing a reduction in rats and roaches within an hour of the cucumbers being placed around your home.
