Mumbai: In an extremely heartbreaking turn of events, actress and model Shefali Jariwala, famously known as the Kaanta Laga Girl, has passed away at the age of 42. The news has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry and her fanbase.

On the night of June 27, Shefali reportedly suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at her home. She was immediately taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others. Sadly, the hospital staff confirmed that Shefali was already dead before reaching the emergency room.
While doctors and staff at the hospital refrained from sharing too many details, a cardiologist associated with the case did not deny the incident. Her body has been shifted to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.

Shefali Jariwala rose to fame in the early 2000s with the iconic music video Kaanta Laga, which made her a household name overnight. Later, she appeared in Bollywood films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and reality shows such as Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye.
Known for her bold, confident persona, Shefali also used her platform to talk about mental health awareness and women’s empowerment. She was loved not just for her glamour but also for her honesty and strength.
Shefali had over 3.3 million followers on Instagram and often described herself as an “Artiste & Pug Mom.” Her last post was just days ago, showing her vibrant spirit, making this loss even harder for fans to process.
